Phonsavan

Phonsavan appeared on our travel map because of the mysterious stone formations called Plain of Jars that we definitely wanted to visit. It was however the city marketplace where I spent most of my time with the camera, that was by far the busiest place in Phonsavan. Filled up with sellers, offering everything from vegetables up to livestock, and buyers, arriving from surrounding villages in the back of open trucks, this bustling market could offer some really interesting treats for the eye.
