Inle, Loikaw & Kalaw

Taking pictures of Burma would not be a complete experience without visiting the long neck women villages near Loikaw. We needed two translators to be able to speak with the tribe as Kayan women use their own language to communicate. We were pleased to hear the stories about the simple life they're living in sync with the nature and how proud they are about wearing their rings as they make them feel beautiful.

Inle Lake is yet another a must go to place, not only to see the natural beauty of this watery world but also to observe the simple daily live of Burmese people, concentrated around water, tourists and the local markets.

On the way to Inle Lake we made a stop over at Kalaw, a hill station that offered amazing views as well as some interesting picture taking opportunities.
